Jodie (Joe) Bradshaw
Living in Baltimore, MD, I had the privilege of growing up in a community that was rich in resources for young people. I was influenced by artists, dancers, actors, singers, fashion creators, home improvement experts and other professionals who helped me see dozens of opportunities that existed for a city kid. These workshops that the community nuns put together were meaningful in shaping my mind. I will never forget the nuns from the neighborhood Catholic school who took us on bus trips out of the city to places I wouldn’t have known existed. Those memories still resonate with me today. I always said to myself, that if given the chance, I’d want to make sure young people had the same access to these life changing experiences and opportunities.
These experiences have made me the man who I am today, and Read and Ride Adventures will allow me to give back to young people in ways that so many gave to me.
